Joy was something forbidden to me / Bucuria era ceva interzis pentru mine

Joy was something forbidden to me / Bucuria era ceva interzis pentru mine

At the beginning, when I was a child, I thought that days were good to come and go.

There were not always happy days in my life and many times any joy was overshadowed by a less happy event. Or I got a 10 at school and was considered very intelligent, but when I came home my parents were arguing or there was a tense atmosphere. Or I would receive a gift and feel great joy, but something unfortunate would follow… generally it was related to the tension that was felt in the family, between my parents. Thus, the period when I studied, even though I was an exceptional student, was overshadowed by my grandmother’s words “after laughter, comes crying”.

How the inauguration of the solo art exhibition “El Jardín de los Sueños Cumplidos” enriched my soul

How the inauguration of the solo art exhibition “El Jardín de los Sueños Cumplidos” enriched my soul

On June 6, 2024, I inaugurated the individual art exhibition called “El Jardín de los Sueños Cumplidos”.

It was a vast exhibition in a huge and important public space. Almost 100 people were present and I had a performance supported by 3 professional ballerinas (Melissa, Fabiola and Rossana), live Mexican music performed by Danna, colorful paintings and with the help of three little girls I distributed flowers to all the women present and lots, lots of emotions…

what I learned from my solo art exhibition “Tierra fértil: entre diosas y mujeres” made in Mexico

what I learned from my solo art exhibition “Tierra fértil: entre diosas y mujeres” made in Mexico

On 20.04.2023 I inaugurated my solo art exhibition called “Tierra fértil: entre diosas y mujeres” in one of the most important art galleries in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

In order to prepare this art exhibition and shape it, I created during 4 months a collection of divine women, beautiful women who love the sun/light/life and have confidence in themselves, awakened women that this earth needs so much, women who know that only in harmony and together with an authentic man can create a better world. When we talk about colours in our homes

When we talk about colours in our homes

When we talk about colours in our homes, usually the first thing we think about is the colours of the clothes we wear, the shoes, the car, the hair and at some point we also think about our house.

What colours do we have in our home?

Outside the house if we use colours to impress or influence others, in the intimacy/atmosphere of the house we use them to (re)charge us. This is the place where we find our peace and balance to be able to start again the next day. Also, our house is the one that reflects our mood.

Red is considered the warmest color and is associated with vitality, energy and aggression. Continue reading “When we talk about colours in our homes”

Happy life means happy paintings in your home

Happy life means happy paintings in your home

I consider my life to be a happy life, even though sometimes there are ups and down, I consider the trend to be a positive one and everything that I’m living now to be for my own personal growth.

Don’t imagine that there are always sunny days and champagne, no… but, what I understood over the years, is that you cannot appreciate happiness when you are living in a comfort zone; it is not relevant, because in such a case you don’t have to confront situations that are unknown for you.

What I am talking about here is being happy when there are challenges and situations that I’ve never lived before. Moving to a country where there is a different culture and different rules and ways to live everyday life, is one of these challenges I am referring to. It is what I have been experiencing, since I moved to a certain country in South America. Continue reading “Happy life means happy paintings in your home”

How to choose the perfect-sized painting for your room

Getting the perfect-sized painting for your room might seem to be a difficult task, suited for “connoisseurs” only, but in fact is a fun and interesting thing to do!Whether it is a unique, one-of-a-kind original painting, or a mass-produced, Chinese-made reproduction sold world-wide by IKEA, any interior designer would agree that by adding such wall art to your home decor you would have the great chance to enhance your space with color, style and an eye-catching focal point to stare at and dream, create or just relax.  However, the task of determining the proper size and proper placement of new artwork could sometimes seem complicated. As an artist who creates nice custom paintings for a world-wide clientele, I would like to help with that frequent question that so many folks have when planning for art purchase: “What size of painting should I choose for my wall?”.  Continue reading “How to choose the perfect-sized painting for your room”
