“Mindfulness poetry” is my first original artwork from 2020.
The painting was inspired by the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn who has changed the way the world looks at the power of mindfulness and meditation. His work is about applications of mindfulness meditation in everyday living.
He says that “when we meet life with awareness, our lives go from a black-and-white movie to a full Technicolor panoramic sound movie”.
The painting was made with multiple layers of colour on top of which golden mandalas were drawn and it is the result of my attempt to practice meditation in every moment.
